Shown opposite is the MAJOR Mobile Site Spec Bunded Units. The BBOW10 (900gal) model differs from the others in the range by the fact that the fuel system is contained to the rear of the unit with folding access steps to a safety platform. This unit is also fitted with hydraulic brakes, parking brake and patented folding jack which folds over drawbar when unit is being towed. All models in this range have a comprehensive lighting system to EU regulations with the lights mounted in bumper with grill fitted to prevent damage.
The Bowsers are available with bunding (secondary containment). The bunding consists of a tank, which surrounds the fuel container and is of at least 110% capacity of the container. In the event of the fuel container or its pipe work becoming ruptured or leaking then the bund will prevent a leakage to the environment. Bunding is a requirement under the Control of Pollution Regulation (England) 2001. For bunded containers it is important that the container is separable from the bund to facilitate testing and inspection.
